After installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), you might receive the blue screen error. This error blocks the login screen and restarts itself to begin the process again. Booting the computer in safe mode will allow you to repair the problem. Follow the given steps to fix this error.

Step1: Insert Windows 7 setup DVD and then restart your computer.

Step2: This will open the "Advanced boot options" screen.

Step3: From Advanced Boot Options screen, select "Repair Your Computer" and hit Enter. Choose your preferred keyboard layout and then click "Next".

Step4: The "System Recovery Options" screen open up. Click “Startup Repair" and follow the on-screen instruction.

Step5: Reboot your computer when prompted and allow it to start up normally.
